STRUCTURE

The Institute for the Development of Commercial Law and Practice (ICLP) operates under a Council of Management composed of professionals and leading businessmen with a wide diversity of skills and experience.

The ICLP Arbitration Centre (Centre) is comprised of a Director Board called the "Board of the ICLP Arbitration Centre" (Board) which consists of six members who are appointed for a period of three years by the Council of Management of the ICLP, and all decisions of the Centre are made by the Director Board which are final and conclusive.

The ICLP Arbitration Centre Rules require, two members of the Board to be businessmen and one of them to be the Chairman of the Board. The other must be the Deputy Chairman of the Board. Out of the other four members of the Board, two shall be lawyers and two shall be retired Judges.

Administration of the Centre is conducted by the Board, through the Centre's Secretary-General and other personnel, headed by a Chief Executive Officer employed by the ICLP.
