Agreements of Co-operation between ICLP Arbitration Centre and other International Arbitration Centres:
In order to ensure continuous maintenance of international standards and contemporaneous adoption of relevant developments in other countries, the ICLP Arbitration Centre (Centre) has entered in to Agreements of Co-operation between the ICLP Arbitration Centre and the Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in 1996, the Indian Council of Arbitration in 1997, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators , United Kingdom in 1997, the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration , Malaysia in 1998, and the Thai Arbitration Institute in 2004.
The ICLP Arbitration Centre is also a member of the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI) . IFCAI is a leading arbitration body in the world, founded in 1985 to establish and maintain permanent relations between commercial arbitration entities and to facilitate the exchange and distribution of information about the services offered by these entitites. Seventy four (74) Arbitral insitutuions in 46 countries are members of the Federation.
The ICLP Arbitration Centre is the only Institutional Arbitration Centre in Sri Lanka who is a member of IFCAI. |
